ABOUT ME
Zahra Azimzade is a visual artist and illustrator who translates quiet observations, fleeting memories, and the rhythmic beauty of everyday life into expressive visual form. Moving effortlessly between vibrant acrylics, soft oil pastels, and tactile mixed media, her work bridges the line between reality and poetic imagination. For Zahra, art is an ongoing dialogue between light, color, and atmosphere—whether capturing the serene shoreline of a Nordic beach or the nostalgic charm of a simple still life, her compositions invite viewers to slow down, look closer, and feel an intimate connection with the world around them.
Her artistic foundation was shaped at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, where she studied art education and fine arts. This academic background deepened her technical understanding of composition, color theory, and classical techniques, while cultivating a thoughtful approach to visual communication that continues to guide her creative process today.
Over the years, Zahra’s creative journey has crossed geographical borders, allowing her work to resonate with diverse audiences. Her artworks have been featured in various group exhibitions and local showcases across Azerbaijan, as well as selected international exhibitions in Turkey and the United Kingdom.
